A total of 21 female officers have been disciplined for what are known as "sexual harassment" offences in the past four months.

The number of complaints rose from 12 in February to 23 since Mr Abbott became police minister on 20수원출장샵 July, the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) said.

Of the 21, 20 were under 30 years of age.

More than 80 officers, from 40 departments, have been disciplined under the Police and Crime Commissioners' Procedure for Sexual and Child Abuse of a Child.

That was the first time that so many complaints had been made against a single officer since the change in police service standards in June.

In a statement on Tuesday, commissioner Lord Falconer said the police are committed to treating all victims wel타이 마사지l and supporting officers and staff to provide that quality of service.

"I would like to reassure you that the system we are working through ensures that all complaints are taken very seriously.

"I am also pleased to confirm that I am bringing under review the overall Police Complaints Commissioner's Procedure for Sexual and Child Abuse of a Child to ensure that there is a fair, balanced and accurate process."

'It was inappropriate'

Ms Sacks said she had experienced sexual harassment on the job in the past 12 years as a barrister in London.

She said she was "distraught" for her colleagues after seeing the complaints she had received as a barrister over the past six months.

"It was inappropriate," she said.

"I am not sure I am the only barrister out there who has faced this; many women feel so anxious, so ashamed, and that's something they feel they should really change to make their experiences go away and not need to go to this."

Ms Sacks had applied for a restraining order against the officer after she was sexually assaulted on a bus in August 2015. The judge ruled a restraining order was the "only way to protect you" and told her to seek treatment for her mental health.

She said it was a "devastating blow" for her to know she faced losing her job as a solicitor if her "past" is repeated in the future.

After learning of the IPCC report, her boss at Birmingham solicitors Linton & Partners, said he was also being looked at for inappropriate conduct over the past 12 months.
